Centre seeks advice from all parties on UPSC before Parliament's winter session
The NDA government has set an ambitious agenda for the Winter Session
New Delhi: The government conducted a seperate all party meeting to discuss the UPSC CSAT row, besides the all meeting that was chaired by parliamentary affairs minister M. Venkaiah Naidu.
During this meet it asked all the parties to give their views on the continuation of English language comprehension skill, reduced weightage of the analytical component, to make Paper 2 qualifying and revert to an optional paper, besides suggesting other alternatives.
The NDA government has set an ambitious agenda for the Winter Session, and plans to introduce over a dozen new bills and try and push other pending bills through in the month-long session.
Though the Opposition teamed up against the the Insurance Bill, that seeks to hike FDI in insurance, the Congress appears to be ambivalent.
