Watch: Is Mumbai really safe from street harassment of women?
Is street harassment and cat-calling commonplace for women in Mumbai?
Mumbai: Earlier, Deccan Chronicle and everyone else posted a video of a woman who is harassed more than 100 times by men as she walks around New York City for 10 hours. Trying to gauge the level of street harassment in their own cities, women across the world started filming their own walking experiences.
A video in New Zealand surfaced followed by another one in New Delhi and then one in Mumbai. The Mumbai video went viral as it documented how safe Mumbai actually was as, a woman dressed in a pink top and a short skirt walks all over the city – from Andheri and Vashi to Bandra and Kurla but gets no catcalls or stares. However, here's another video that has been shot in Mumbai and shows a completely different side of the city. The video prominently marks the difference in safety that exists in the city.
The video embedded below definitely paints a positive image of Mumbai, although it might not be the same with the rest of the nation. Even though Mumbai city has a dense population with diversified culture and people from different demographics, but when a women steps out, it seems like she need not worry as she is treated in an unbiased way.

After watching the video, the question that pops up is which side of Mumbai are women more likely to see?
