With big films under his name like 2 States, Gunday and Finding Fanny, Arjun Kapoor is hot property these days. But recently, the actor who is going all out to promote his upcoming film Tevar, found himself in a spot.
We hear he visited his mentor Salman Khan’s reality show to launch the song Superman from the film. The song, incidentally, pays tribute to Salman.
Everyone in the industry is aware of Salman’s role in Arjun’s transformation from flab to fab. “Salman’s personality and star aura is so infectious. He is one of the reasons why I chose to be an actor,” Arjun said.
Now, Salman is also a man who’s known to call spade a spade. Even as Arjun’s cool dude stint in Finding Fanny was much lauded, Salman told him the extra pounds on him were quite visible.
Apparently, Salman even had a conversation with his protégé about weight-loss and workout regime. “Arjun was in his best shape during Ishaqzaade and to a large extent even during Gunday. He has always valued Salman’s inputs,” says a close source.
