'Citylights' director Hansal Mehta launches his production company

The film-maker garnered much acclaim with National award winning movie 'Shahid'
Mumbai: National Award winning director Hansal Mehta is embarking on a new journey as he promises to make movies with interesting stories and a mix of talent. "Successful budgets, unique stories and great talent - promise to deliver that in this new phase as a producer," Mehta, who has named his banner Karma Pictures" he tweeted.
The filmmaker who began his directorial career with Jayate in 1997 has started preparation for his first production which is touted to be about a case of a homosexual professor. The movie will feature Manoj Bajpayee and National award winning actor Rajkummar Rao.
"Casting by @CastingChhabra (Mukesh Chhabra) & my dedicated crew in direction and production are killing it. Karma Pictures, my production company begins its innings with a film starring @BajpayeeManoj, @RajkummarRao and written by @Apurvasrani," he added.
