She lost control and fell down on the road

Hyderabad: A professor working in Edify Educational Society in Dulapally died after she slipped and fell down from her bike in an attempt to escape from a stray dog which ran across the road.
The deceased, B. Nirmala Devi, 56, is the wife of Hari Babu, a resident of West Marredpally. SI J. Ashok said on Saturday Nirmala Devi started from her home on her scooty.
When she reached the main road near Nagarjuna Dream Lands a dog came across her vehicle. She lost control and fell down on the road.
"She sustained a grave head injury and was shifted to a private hospital where she died,” cops said. The body was shifted to Gandhi Hospital and was later handed over to the victim's family after postmortem.
