Enforcement Directorate fails to deliver Rahat Fateh Ali Khan summon
ED is now trying to find out Rahat’s Rawalpindi address for sending him a fresh summon
New Delhi: In a setback to the Enforcement Directorate (ED), the summons recently issued by the agency to Pakistani singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan for alleged violation of the foreign exchange rules by him in 2011, has returned without being served. Sources said summon returned without being executed as Lahore’s address provided by the singer was “incorrect.” The agency, through diplomatic channels, is now trying to find out Rahat’s Rawalpindi address for sending him a fresh summon. Sources said, “The agency sleuths are also trying to find-out address of Rawalpindi-based another associate of Pakistani singer. Fresh summons will be issued to both in connection with the case”.
