Is your government spying on you? Download this tool to find out

The government could be spying on your PC to snoop on secret and personal stuff

A few years ago, documents revealed by Edward Snowden, a computer professional, leaked out classified information from the NSA and made headlines. The documents proved the government was spying on its citizens.

Since the battle of the NSA spying or not is at government level and it cannot be resolved for not, the only option left is to test your computer yourself.

Gizmodo reported that Detekt is a good tool to find out if your PC is loaded with any spyware, which could be leaking out your data.

The tool is designed for malware detection, specifically planted for surveillance.

Developed by security researcher Claudio Guarnieri, Detekt is a tool supported by Amnesty International, the Electronic Frontier Foundation, and Privacy International.

The tool can detect and help you protect your privacy on the internet from the government and anyone else who could be spying on you.

Detekt is a simple self running executable file, which does not need installation. Download and double-click on the file to start the scanning.

Detekt might not be a complete solution to finding out if your PS is being spied, but is a free solution to the best effort in tracing spyware and malware.

The Detekt website states that the 26MB file is complete free tool that scans your Windows computer for traces of known surveillance spyware used to target and monitor human rights defenders and journalists around the world.
