Hyderabadi bank employee got a chance to meet his favourite cricketer

Hyderabad: When Shashank Bhavaraju, a bank employee from Hyderabad, checked his email earlier this month, he had no clue that one of his life’s biggest dreams was about to come true an opportunity to meet Sachin Tendulkar.
Shashank was one of the five lucky winners across India to be selected to attend the launch of the Master Blaster’s latest autobiography, Playing It My Way, earlier this month.
Winner of “Sachin Stat-Trick contest” conducted by Flipkart, Shashank attended the event, got an opportunity to speak to Sachin and take photographs with him.
“The fact that I met him face-to-face... it still hasn’t sunk in. I didn’t get to interact with the cricketer for long, just about 5 minutes; he was walking down the stairs after the launch and even though he was mobbed by fans, he stopped and took photos with us. I stood in a queue and got five of his books signed by him for my friends and
family.”
Shashank was shortlisted from a group of 100 throughout the country and he made the final cut after he answered the final set of questions.
