Telangana Assembly session extended till November 29
Hyderarabad: Telangana Legislative Assembly session has been extended till November 29. The Business Advisory Committee (BAC) took the decision in view of the pending business and discussions pertaining to important public issues.
It is learnt that both the Legislative Houses would discuss the Appropriation Bill on November 28. The Session was originally scheduled till November 22.
Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao, irrigation and legislative affairs minister T. Harish Rao, Leader of Opposition K. Jana Reddy, MIM floor leader Akbaruddin Owaisi, BJP floor leader Dr Laxman attended BAC meeting while the Telugu Desam stayed away in protest against the government’s decision to allow only one representative to attend BAC.
Meanwhile, Mr Jana Reddy and Dr Laxman reportedly urged the government to permit TD MLA Revanth Reddy to air his views in the Assembly on DLF and other issues. But, Mr Harish Rao said that Mr Reddy should first tender an apology for misleading the House.
