Staff division to start with 4 sections
Hyderabad: With no progress over distribution of employees between TS and AP, even after bifurcation of AP six months ago, both the governments agreed to take up department-wise distribution of posts where there are no major objections.
The Kamalnathan Committee, appointed by the Centre for distribution of employees, initiated the process on Friday to take up department wise distribution of posts.
Four departments have been identified for the purpose initially. Chief secretary of Telangana Dr Rajiv Sharma and his AP counterpart I.Y.R Krishna Rao met Mr Kamalnathan in the Secretariat on Friday to expedite the distribution process.
It would be taken up in four departments initially, namely in the chief commissioner of land administration, stamps and registrations, engineering wing of public health department and rural water supply.
The allotment of employees will be posted on the website on Saturday and 10 days’ time will be given for employees to lodge objections.
