David James slams ‘defensive’ visiting sides
Kerala Blasters’ manager urged the home support to intimidate Atletico de Kolkata
Kochi: Kerala Blasters’ manager David James has accused visiting teams of ‘parking the bus’ and has urged the home support to intimidate Atletico de Kolkata on Friday.“The last three teams that have been here were defence-minded. I think the intimidation of a very loud and large crowd forced them into that position,” said James.
The former England goalkeeper is still disturbed by the fact that his side drew two of their home matches that should’ve been won and is unwilling to settle for anything short of three points.
Kerala have hosted FC Goa, Delhi Dynamos and Mumbai City FC and failed to register a goal in their last two outings here.
