Sooraj Barjatiya is very serious about the music in his films and it is no different when it comes to his latest film, Prem Ratan Dhan Payo. The director is keeping a close check on the progress of the musical score and drops by music director Himesh Reshammiya’s studio often for progress updates.
A source connected to the project told us, “Till last month, Sooraj was shooting the major portions of his film with Salman and Sonam (Kapoor) at ND Studios.
They have finished shooting a couple of songs for the film and Sooraj is extremely happy with the way Himesh has given him a different range of music for this mega budget film.”
Sooraj hasn’t missed a single music session so far. He generally drops by at Himesh’s studio in the evenings, accompanied by his team members and sometimes his father, Raj Kumar Barjatya.
Sooraj’s approach is not surprising for those who know him. A source added, “Very recently there was a recording of chorus singers in the studio for one song.
Sooraj was present for that session and gave inputs to make the song better. His brief to Himesh is that he likes to tell stories within the song and take the movie ahead.
So far, he has loved all his songs and is very happy with the way other songs are shaping up.” The film will release during Diwali 2015.
