Ex-Satyam MD B Rama Raju moves High Court
Hyderabad: B. Rama Raju, the then managing director of Satyam Computer Services Ltd., on Wednesday moved the Hyderabad High Court seeking that the Special Judge for Economic Offences Court, Hyderabad, has no jurisdiction to try the case related to Satyam Computers scam.
He contended there was no rationale in upgrading XXI Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Court, Nampally, Hyderabad, to a ‘Court of Session’, under Section 9 of the CrPC, which originally constituted to try CBI cases relating to Satyam computers. He urged to stay all further proceedings in the cases before the ‘Court of Session’.
