Telangana state assembly appreciates sportspersons

Hyderabad: Telangana state Legislative Assembly on Tuesday passed a resolution expressing appreciation for sportspersons who had brought laurels to the state with their performances in international sports.

The House congratulated shuttlers Saina Nehwal and K. Srikanth for their China Open victories, cricketer Ambati Rayudu, Chakravarthy Reddy who became the first International Grandmaster from the state and Sania Mirza, the tennis ace.
