Power Minister Aryadan Muhammed was trying to sabotage the investigation
Police has booked a case under Sections 376 of IPC and 5 and 6 of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act 2012.
Kozhikode: Giving a new twist to the sexual abuse case of an LKG student at Darul Huda English Medium School at Parakkadavu, it has been alleged that Power Minister Aryadan Muhammed was trying to sabotage the investigation.
The charge against the school, run by the AP Sunni group led by Kanthapuram A.P. Abubackar Muzalyar, was raised by the youth wing of the rival E.K. Sunni faction, Sunni Yuvajana Sangham.
Addressing a press conference here on Tuesday, SYS Kozhikode district president C.H. Mahmood Saeedi and Mr Nasser Faizy Koodathayi said that DySP Prajeesh Thottathil, who investigated the case, was kept off from the investigation for 2 days due to the influence of the minister.
