Good or bad? Raghu-Rajiv to give Roadies a miss this season

Esha Deol and Karan Kundra to step in as a judge

Mumbai: Raghu-Rajiv, the duo who has been with MTV Roadies right from its inception will no longer be a part of the show. The two heavyweights were known for cutting down contestants to size with their sharp comments and grueling tasks. The people pouring in for the auditions had to undergo one gruelling task- impressing Raghu and Rajiv.

Now, with the two stepping away from the show, it will be interesting to see how the events unfold on the show. Raghu even shared the news on a social networking site, "Roadies is happening. I'm not gonna do it, though. I'm done with it. Moved on. About time, too."

A source from TOI mentioned, "Raghu's anger management issues and mood swings caused trouble for everyone on the shoot, leading the channel to take this step." About Esha, a source associated with the show said, "She has a no-nonsense image and doesn't get carried away with emotions. She fits the bill perfectly.

Now, Esha Deol and Karan Kundra have been roped in as the judge. Esha Deol had been looking forward to make her debut for a while now but wanted to be a part of the show which was popular with the youth. Esha’s no–nonsense persona combined with her ability to disengage herself from emotional entanglements makes her the perfect fit for the show.

Karan Kundra’s stint as a vampire with another show proved to strengthen his follower base to an extent that now he will be seen on Roadies as a judge alongside the original roadie Rannvijay Singha. The actor known for his casanova roles and gorgeous looks will make a stylish addition to the team.

This show will see a female judge for the first time. Will it change the viewers perception about the brand? We wonder, what's in-store this time around.
