While their upcoming film Happy Ending is the talk of the town, director duo Raj and DK continues to be worried about their next. It seems that Shahid Kapoor, the leading man of their next venture Farzi, has left them in the lurch. The shoot for the film was supposed to begin in November with Shahid and Kriti Sanon but the unit is waiting for the actors to get free.
Shahid is away in Poland shooting for Shaandar and has assured that he’ll start on Farzi only in January next year. But that’s the time when Kriti will be busy with Akshay Kumar’s Singh Is Bling. The directors are having serious issues trying to acquire joint dates from their actors. That’s the reason why Farzi has been indefinitely delayed. “Shahid has been extra cautious about his dates.
He was always scheduled to shoot for Shaandar in November. There has been no overlapping of dates from his end,” says a source close to him. And Kriti’s sources say, “She has assured the filmmakers that she will be shooting for Farzi and SIB simultaneously.”
Hopefully that should bail out the filmmakers.
