Sennheiser plans to expand its network to tap the headphone
Hyderabad: German audio solutions provider Sennheiser plans to expand its network to tap the headphone market in the country, a senior offical said.
Speaking to mediapersons here on Tuesday, Kapil Gulati, VP, sales and marketing (consumer segment), Sennheiser, said that the German audio major recognises India’s potential in this segment.
As part of its expansion plans, Sennhe-iser is looking at opening 2,500 touch points in the country, including opening of nine Shop-In-Shops and launching five new showrooms in the next three years. It has also tied up with many audio distributors and music directors.
One of the biggest challenges according to Mr Gulati is the higher import duty on audio products which is effecting sales.
