Samsung will skip Android 4.4.4 version and jump straight to Android 5.0

Samsung will not be updating their last year’s flagship models, including the 2015 Samsung Galaxy S5, to Android 4.4.4, but has decided to jump straight to Android 5.0 Lollipop.
SamMobile tweeted that Samsung will be settling for Android Lollipop for the previous year’s flagship handsets rather than updating them to Android 4.4.4.

Media reports speculated that the Lollipop update for these handsets will receive the update as early as January 2015.
