Silver Hills Public School winners for 6th time
Thiruvananthapuram: The Silver Hills Public School, Calicut is on cloud nine right now. It has won the overall championship at the CBSE State Kalotsav. And beyond that, their Duffumuttu team has lifted the trophy once again for the 6th consecutive year.
“We are extremely happy with the accomplishment of our students. Our teams have won prizes in Oppana and Thiruvathira and we have won prizes in many other individual events.
It has been one happy fest for our school” says Manjula, a teacher from the school. The trainer of the Duffumuttu team is Nisar who coached them for the past year as well.
The school represented the Calicut Sahodaya at the Kalotsav.
Another young champ Mohamed Azhar too has been on a winning streak for the past five years. He has been participating in Arabic Recitation at the Kalotsav from 6th standard and every year he has been bagging the first place. His trainer is Salim Ernakulam. A student of CSM Central School, Edassery, he represents the Thrissur Sahodaya.
