Female fans waited outside Abhishek Bachchan’s office for five hours

Mumbai: Abhishek Bachchan has always had some exceptional encounters with his fans… remember the girl who turned up at his wedding claiming to be his wife? To his credit, Abhishek is invariably warm, gracious and attentive with people who make it a point to come and meet him unannounced. Such was the case on Saturday when four diehard female fans dropped in to meet Abhishek at his office complex, Janak.
When told politely that he was busy, the fans were even more determined to meet Abhishek and get a photo taken with their favourite star. So they said they’d wait. Says a source from Janak, “Abhishek was in two back-to-back story narrations. So his staff refrained from informing him about the fans. The girls waited for five hours.
When he got to know about them he immediately rushed down to the building compound where they were waiting. He spent some time with them chatting and getting photos clicked.”
Abhishek says being nice to fans comes easily to him. “I’ve watched my father being warm and friendly with strangers all my life. Fans make you what you are. You cannot disrespect their feelings.”
The star admits that the volume of ‘fan invasion’ has gone up after Happy New Year. “The film has certainly been a game-changer for all of us.”
