AP CM offers easy clearance norms to Singapore businessmen

Naidu promised that entrepreneurs will not be harassed for permissions
Hyderabad: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Friday said the purpose of his Singapore visit was to get investments for AP. He called on the industrialists in Singapore to come to AP and be partners in the development of the state. On the third day of his Singapore trip, Mr Naidu delivered the keynote address at the International South Asian States 9th International Conference on The States of South Asia. He also addressed the business corporations’ meet.
Mr Naidu said: “You were poor in the 1960s, but now you are rich and have world-class standards. This spirit has impressed me”. He said that after taking office, his first visit abroad was to Singapore, because he trusts Singapore’s integrity and honesty.“Even when the national leaders had not bothered to market India, I had gone abroad and had marketed India and AP, my state. I marketed Hyderabad and created Cyberbad,” Mr Naidu claimed.
He said in India the last decade has been a decade of lost opportunities, corruption, inefficiency and policy paralysis. The CM said that after 25 years, India has a stable, strong and a development-oriented government under Prime Minister Narendra Modi.Mr Naidu said AP has abundant water, good road network, and is going to provide 24X7 power. “We are back on track. There will not be any power problem in AP, that is my assurance,” he said.
He promised that entrepreneurs will not be harassed for permissions and that his government would appoint escort officers for major investment proposals.
