Microsoft could be launching the next update for Windows Phone OS, v8.1.1
Microsoft Windows Phone users can get a bit excited as they would be seeing the new update, Windows Phone v8.1.1, as early as December 2014.
According to a report on SoftPedia, Microsoft would be launching the Windows Phone 8.1 Update 2 (aka GDR2) before the year end.
The Windows Phone Update 2 was spotted by the folks at Windows Central via a mention in a changelog of the Battery Saver application.
The information in the changelog also refers to a major update over the older existing version.
The information only presently gave out minute details, but there could be more features in the update when it arrives.
