Kolkata: Needing a win to maintain at top of the points table, Atletico de Kolkata (ATK) could only manage to draw the game and earn a point against the Chennaiyin FC (CHE) in a top of the table clash at the Salt Lake Stadium in Kolkata on Friday.

9: Injury and the game was halted for some time. After a battle to grab the advantage, Atletico de Kolkata’s Jofre Mateu went down.

Meanwhile Deepika Padukone, who is present in the stadium was welcomed with a loud cheer. She looked abasolutely pleased being at the venue.

15: Goalkeeper could not make a clean save but the hometeam’s defenders did a fine job to keep Chennaiyin FC away from the opening goal.

21: Fikru wasted a golden opportunity to net the first goal. Garcia and Nato’s displayed an amzing interplay as Fikru had a relatively open goalpost before him. But he shot one wide.

47: Fikru and Materazzi resumed second-half on a rather unpleasant note. The duo had a go at eachother as the first half was about to get over. But after the Italian clattered into the Ethiopian, things just flared up a little.

62: Garcia came tantalisingly close to take Atletico de Kolkata in lead. He smashed a superb free-kick but the ball hit the cross-bar.

82: GOAL or was it not! It initially looked as one when Balwant ran into celebration. But the umpire ruled against it indicating Chennaiyin FC man had handed the ball. No goal and a yellw-card for him instead.
