Sharad Yadav criticises Bihar CM Jitan Ram Manjhi’s foreigner remark

CM said that upper caste people are foreigners
New Delhi: In an apparent snub to Bihar chief minister Jitan Ram Manjhi for his remark, that “upper caste people are foreigners”, JD(U) chief Sharad Yadav asked him to exercise caution in his public utterances. Even while the moves are afoot for the revival of the old Janata Parivar, Mr Manjhi has caused much heartburn within his party over his statements in the recent days.
“Those who are occupying constitutional post should speak responsibly,” Mr Yadav quipped when asked for his reactions to Mr Manjhi’s claims that the “upper castes are foreigners”. There appears to be growing rebellion within the JD(U) against Mr Manjhi and the demand to replace him for the post of the chief minister is growing more.
