The students have been absent from clinical, academic as well as hospital duties
Hyderabad: Over 400 junior doctors have been marked as “totally absent” and they will not be able to appear for the 2015 exams for their doctorate degrees, said P. Srinivas, the medical and health director.
The students have been absent from clinical, academic as well as hospital duties and, therefore, will not be eligible. The junior doctors’ strike started on September 29, 2014, and has completed 45 days.
Over 60 house surgeons, who have come from different parts of the country, will be sent back to their respective states as they are not attending their duties. The junior doctors have hit back saying that this Act is wrongfully being implemented. The doctors have decided to continue with the strike.
