Hyderabad: The Chief Minister said that areas around Sanjeevayya Park, Secunderabad Boats Club land and the vacant land adjacent to Jalavihar would be ideal locations to build skyscrapers.
He added that the government was committed to develop Hyderabad as an international city and said that skyscrapers were a key component of an international city since many facilities could be made available to people in a limited space.
He said the government would consider proposals like building the towers and giving them on lease or entrusting the construction to private developers. The government would even relax building norms to facilitate the skyscrapers.
