AP gets first payment of FDI from Singapore
CM offered to provide 24X7 power supply and water for industries
Hyderabad: The first day of Andhra Pradesh CM N. Chandrababu Naidu’s three-day Singapore tour was very successful on Wednesday with Singapore government and other industrialists evincing interest in investing in the state.
The CM offered to provide 24X7 power supply and water as well as single window clearances for industries. Mr Naidu also showed keen interest in studying the taxation system of Singapore.
Throwing open the gates of AP for investments, Mr Naidu said the state was endowed with abundant and rich natural resources. It has about a 1,000-km long coastline with immense potential for investments in ports and shipyard development in addition to imports and exports, and other potential infrastructure investment areas like rail and road sectors. Earlier in the day, Mr Naidu gave a five-minute video presentation on AP and investment opportunities in it.
