Ranbir Kapoor demonstrates Mithun’s iconic dance steps, calls him a great football player

Mumbai: Ranbir Kapoor, who returned to Mumbai from a long schedule of ‘Jagga Jasoos’ in Thailand, recently shot for ‘Comedy Nights with Kapil’. On the show, he spoke about his football team and the passion that drives him to run a team.

Being Kapil’s show, it’s obvious that there will be some rib tickling segments. On the show, Ranbir danced like Mithun da and performed a few of his iconic steps. He said that, if not an actor Mithun would have been a great football player because of his trademark steps.

Mithun Chakraborty is Bollywood's original 'Disco Dancer', and he righfully earned the title when he shot to fame when he played the role of Pritam-the young street dancer in the 1982 film by the same name. Even today songs from the film like 'I am a Disco Dancer' and 'Jimmy Jimmy Aaja' are very popular all over the globe.
