Uttar Pradesh man trespasses into Air Force station
Thanjavur: The local police and sleuths of the Central and the state Intelligence agencies lost their sleep on Monday night following the trespassing of a 47-year-old man, hailing from UP, into the heavily guarded Air Force station in Thanjavur.
However, much to the relief of all, the trespasser turned out to be a vagabond who had run away from his home town some two years ago and not an ISI spy, as suspected.
Sources said he was caught by the security personnel when he trespassed into the heavily guarded Air Force station on Monday at 5 am. He was handed over to local police at 5 pm for further interrogation.
Based on a complaint by Flight Lieutenant Ganesh Kumar, the police and sleuths of the Central and the state Intelligence agencies grilled him through the night, suspecting him to be an ISI spy.
