Uttar Pradesh: Drunk police constable forces dancer to perform at gun-point

Shahjahanpur: The Uttar Pradesh Police was caught in another case of embarrassment on Monday night after a cop was filmed forcing an exhausted dancer to continuously perform at gunpoint for an hour.

In the video footage, the accused constable was also seen showering currency notes worth Rs 30,000 in denominations of Rs 100 and Rs 500 on her, at a cultural function.

According to a report, the cop who gate crashed into the function, headed straight for the stage and started dancing with the dancer. Pointing the loaded revolver to the dancer’s head, the constable forced her to perform continuously at the event.

He has now been suspended and an inquiry has been ordered against him.
