Guwahati: Ulfa chairman Arbinda Rajkhowa has expressed his complete faith in the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Mr Rajkhowa, who was talking to reporters on the sidelines of Northeast Festival in New Delhi, said, “The youth of Assam and we also believe that it was Prime Minister Narendra Modi who alone can solve the problem of Assamese people and tackle the issue of influx from Bangladesh.”
Contrary to what Ulfa chairman has been saying while operating in exile, Mr Rajkhowa said, “Pro-talk faction of Ulfa respects the views of Mr Modi.”
Lauding the initiatives of the PM, he said, “The stature of Mr Modi has been attracting the people towards the BJP in Assam.”
