BENGALURU: After urban experts and citizens pointed fingers at the slow pace of work on roads taken up under Tendersure, Mayor N. Shantakumari on Tuesday set a deadline of March-end to complete all the four roads.

After inspecting the progress and quality of Tendersure roads, she said that the work on the four roads Cunningham, Museum, Vittal Mallya and St. Mark’s will be completed by March 2015.

She directed the authorities to complete works as per schedule and avoid inconvenience to public and remove footpath encroachments. No shops will be allowed on footpaths built under Tendersure project.

Cunningham road has achieved 40 per cent progress, while St. Mark’s Road has progressed 45 per cent. They will be fully completed by March next year, she said.
