The police traced her in 15 days time
Police has booked a case under Sections 376 of IPC and 5 and 6 of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act 2012.
Bengaluru: A 19-year-old girl has accused her father, an army man, of raping her while she was a minor.
Around one month ago her father had filed a missing complaint in Vidyaranyapura police station.
The police traced her in 15 days time. When the police brought her to the station, they found out that she had eloped with her relative, a city-based software engineer.
On being questioned, she alleged that her father had allegedly raped her few years ago. The police have issued a notice to her father seeking explanation on the complaint filed by his daughter.
