CBI to get report in Badaun case
New Delhi: The CBI, probing the alleged rape and murder case of two girls in Badaun district in Uttar Pradesh, is all set to get the report of a medical board set up to examine whether the autopsies done on the victims were according to the correct procedure.
The three-member board, headed by AIIMS forensic expert, is expected to give its report to the agency by the end of this week.
The panel had asked the CBI to provide the belongings of the victims for medical and forensic analysis.
The agency sent a forensic report received from the Hyderabad-based Centre for Centre for DNA Fingerprinting and Diagnostics (CDFD) that had examined personal particulars belonging to the two victims including their clothes and their body swabs to the board to draw conclusions for the probe.
The board is also examining the findings’ and authenticity of the first post-mortem conducted by a lady doctor who had no prior experience.
