AP CM Chandrababu Naidu halves his Singapore team
Naidu will deliver the keynote address at the South Asia international seminar

Hyderabad: With a delegation of only 13 members, selected judiciously, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu is all set to leave for Singapore on a three-day visit on Tuesday night.
Initially, the AP government had sent a list of 24 members to the ministry of external affairs for political clearance. The Centre accepted the list, but Mr Naidu pruned the list at the last minute.
The team now comprises finance minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu, municipal minister P. Narayana, IT adviser J. Satyanarayana, communications adviser Parakala Prabhakar, special representative in Delhi, Kambhampati Rammohan Rao, special chief secretary, planning, S.P. Tucker, municipal administration principal secretary D. Samba Siva Rao, industries principal secretary, J.S.V. Prasad, principal secretary to CM A. Giridhar, Skill Development Corporation director D. Lakshmi Narayana, CM’s PA Raj Gopal and chief security officer Nagesh Babu.
Those who were dropped are Y.S. Chowdhary, who was sworn-in to the Modi council of ministers, AP minister Sidda Raghava Rao, IAS officers Ajay Sahani, G. Sai Pratap, Satish Chandra, B. Sam Bob, N.V. Ramana Reddy, P. Krishnayya, CM’s PA Srinivas, public works department senior consultant Vikas Shah and M. Altar. The expenditure will be borne by the general administration department. The government also released '68, 09,985 as advance for the tour.
On Friday, Mr Naidu will deliver the keynote address at the South Asia international seminar and visit Jurang Island, before heading back home.
