The Congress on Monday attacked Modi on Cabinet expansion

New Delhi: The Congress on Monday attacked Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Cabinet expansion accusing him of including more “tainted” ministers in the government contrary to his election rhetoric of “cleaning up” the Parliament of criminals.
Claiming that two to three controversial new ministers were inducted in the expansion on Sunday , Mr Maken said the number of “tainted” ministers in Mr Modi’s council of ministers has gone upto 15 to 16 out of the 66.
Finance minister Arun Jaitley rejected the Congress’ charges of inclusion of “tainted” ministers in the Cabinet expansion, saying Prime Minister Narendra Modi had chosen his team after “checking the credentials and the facts related to each one of them.”
