Under-age smokers caught smoking in public to pay hefty fines
Soon, smoking under 21 years of age will be made illegal in India.
New Delhi: It will soon be made illegal to smoke under 21 years of age and those caught smoking in public will have to shell out more. With these changes in the offing, the Union health ministry is all set to propose amendments in the COTPA 2003 this week.
