I didn't create enough drama on 'Bigg Boss': Sushant Divgikar

'I am not like that but I could have easily done that' says the model

Mumbai: Evicted 'Bigg Boss 8' contestant Sushant Divgikar says his inability to pick up fights with others on the show led to his early elimination from the celebrity reality series.

The 24-year-old Mr Gay India star said there is no place for a quiet person on the show as the public wants to see drama. "... If I wanted to save myself from nomination or eviction, I had to take unnecessary 'panga' with everyone.

Like, I had to do some drama and abuse people. But why? I am not like that but I could have easily done that. I could have picked up fights with so many people in the house. That's not who I am. Audience love to see drama and entertainment. They want to see a movie everyday in one hour," Sushant told PTI.

The model has rubbished claims made by his co-contestants that he does not do household chores properly and gets up from bed late. "I was the first person to get up and dance. I think this is just a rumour to show someone as negative and get ahead in the game. But they never see what they have done. Puneet (Issar) has thrown someone on the floor, Gautam (Gulati) has no respect for women...," he said. Sushant, who had a comparatively peaceful stay in the house, was close to TV actress Karishma Tanna but his heart broke when she chose her make-up kit over saving him from elimination.

"If she thought make-up is important for her then it's completely her prerogative. I can't help it. But I felt bad and that very night I sorted things out with her. I accepted her apology," he said.

However, he had his share of ups and downs on the Colors show, but meeting screen diva Rekha, who was in the house to promote her film, was a highlight for him.

"One of the most memorable moments of my life. That's bigger than the title of the winner of the show," he said. Asked who has the maximum chances of winning the show, Sushant said, "It could be among four people - Upen (Patel), Diandra (Soares), Pritam (Singh) and Aarya (Babbar)." Sushant, who was one of the faces from the LGBT community, said he would be lending his voice in one of the Salman Khan's film, as the host had promised him.

He said he would also like to finish his PhD in psychology, get back into hosting and work for the betterment of his community.
