Justice Kalifullah said strike or boycott should never happen

Chennai: Appealing to advocates not to resort to boycott, Justice F.M. Ibrahim Kalifullah on Saturday suggested to the Bar Council of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry (BCTP) to constitute a committee which can work with the support of judges and resolve any problems relating to lawyers.After inaugurating the new BCTP building, Justice Kalifullah said strike or boycott should never happen.
“I know it will not be to the liking of the members of the bar but it is my responsibility to say that boycott should never happen. This is one black spot which tarnishes our image,” he added. He said no one likes boycott. If you ask any citizen of our country, they will not favour it. If anybody supports boycott, then, he will withdraw his statement. There were effective alternatives.
