Book readings can often be stiff, dry affairs. Not when it's Naseeruddin Shah on the dais, though! The camaraderie was clear for all to see as Shah and Ramachandra Guha laughed and talked like only old friends can, at the reading of Shah’s autobiography, And Then One Day.
Shah has often said that it was a compliment from the historian-author that drove him to completing his book.
Apparently, Guha read one of his articles and said he liked it. That turned out to be the push Shah needed to bring out the author in himself!
