New Delhi: The National Investigation Agency has arrested another person in connection with the Burdwan blast. The accused, Zia-ul-Haque, had allegedly indoctrinated youth for training by showing them “jihadi” videos related to Gujarat and Assam violence.
The accused, a resident of Naida district in West Bengal, was arrested from Masjid Talha in Khagragarh of Burdwan district where he had been hiding since the incident. He was tracked by NIA with the help of Central intelligence agencies.
Haque is said to be a close associate of absconding accused Rezaul Karim and Yusuf Sheikh alias Moulana Yusuf.
