Windows Phone users would agree that, the experience with WhatsApp on Windows Phone has never been at par with iOS and Android versions. Previously, Windows Phone was updated with share location and archive features, which brought along with it a bunch of bugs. Windows Phone users reported various issues with the chat app, like they couldn’t see their friends’ profile pictures, and some of them were unable to send messages altogether.
Although, soon after the faulty update was rolled out, a small update to fix the bugs was sent out, which unfortunately did not address all the issues faced by the users. However, a few days back WhatsApp circulated another update for Windows Phone users, which aims at ‘various enhancement and bug fixes’. This new update is expected to patch all the previous bugs and not bring in any further breakdowns.
We suggest all Windows Phone users to take a leap of faith and upgrade their WhatsApp if haven’t already!
