Southern Railway to run extra trains due to holiday season
Southern Railway will run special trains between Kacheguda and Kollam with stoppages at Salem, Erode, Tiruppur and Coimbatore to clear extra rush of passengers during the holiday season
Coimbatore: Southern Railway will run special trains between Kacheguda and Kollam with stoppages at Salem, Erode, Tiruppur and Coimbatore to clear extra rush of passengers during the holiday season. Train No.07115 Kacheguda - Kollam special train will leave Kacheguda at 10.35am on 16 November and reach Kollam at 5.40pm the next day. Train No.07116 Kollam - Kacheguda special train will leave Kollam at 9pm on November 17 and reach Kacheguda at 2.35am on November 19.
The trains will stop at Salem, Erode, Tiruppur and Coimbatore. Similarly train No.07221 Machilipatnam - Kollam special train will leave Machilipatnam at 10am on November 24 and reach Kollam at 11.45amthe next day. Train No.07222 Kollam - Machilipatnam special train will leave Kollam at 5pm on November 25 and reach Machilipatnam at 6pmthe next day. The trains will stop at Salem, Erode, Tiruppur and Coimbatore. Advance reservations for the above trains will commence on November 7, said a release.
