Errabelli questions CM K Chandrasekhar Rao

TD floor leader argues over number of Assembly days
Hyderabad: Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao and Telangana Telugu Desam floor leader E. Dayakar Rao crossed swords at the Business Advisory Committee meeting in the Assembly on Wednesday.
Both leaders argued over the number of days the Assembly should be in Session.
The CM’s objection was to the presence of two Telugu Desam MLAs, E. Dayakar Rao and A. Revanth Reddy, at the BAC meet. He insisted only one MLA should be present and speak at the BAC.
Soon after the adjournment of the Session for the day after presentation of the TRS government’s first Budget, the BAC met under the chairperson of Speaker Madhusudhana Chary to finalise the agenda of the Session.
BAC decided to hold the Assembly Session up to November 22. Mr Dayakar Rao wanted the session to go on till November 30 but the CM said it would be decided later.
“I asked why it should not go on till November 30. He (CM) said we will take a decision later. I asked him why later, why not now. There was a slight argument,” Mr Dayakar Rao said after the meeting. However, Mr Rao had his way.
Mr Dayakar Rao argued that in the past two TRS MLAs were allowed at the BAC meeting.
“The CM said it might have been done in the past, but he will not allow it now. I asked why this change in the rules. The CM said he knows how to run the Assembly. I said I know how to behave in the Assembly,” he added.
Despite objections, Mr Revanth Reddy continued to sit in the BAC.
Mr Rao reportedly asked whether it was necessary for those who don’t have the patience to listen to the Budget presentation to know about the duration of the Assembly Session. Objecting to the comment, Mr Dayakar Rao took on Mr Rao and the latter hit back.
CLP leader K. Jana Reddy and BJP leader Dr Laxman intervened and pacified the leaders.
