The timings for the new TS Assembly has been reduced
Hyderabad: The timings for the new TS Assembly has been reduced considerably.
The undivided AP Assembly used to sit from 8.30 am to 1.30 pm for many decades till it was revised to 9 am to 2 pm during the N. Kiran Kumar Reddy regime. The same practice was continued even in the Budget session of the residuary AP Assembly.
Mr Chandrasekhar Rao told the BAC members that if the need arose, he would have no objection to allow evening sittings of the Assembly to discuss the important matters that were mutually agreed by the government and Opposition.
The new timings: 10 to 11 am: Question Hour, 11 to 11.30 am: Petitions, Zero Hour: Mentions and other motions on urgent matters, 11.30 to 11.45 am: tea break, 11.45 am to 1.30 pm: other listed business, debates.
