Producer Dil Raju’s small budget film Kerintha got underway a while back with many new faces and it had Lawanya Tripathi and Sumanth Aswhin as the lead pair.
However, after 25 days of the shooting, the producer was not satisfied with the output, so shooting was shelved with plans to start afresh.
According to a source, the producer was not satisfied with Lawanya Tripathi’s work and has replaced her with the Kruthika of Drushyam fame.
The source says that the unit has started shooting afresh with Kruthika and Sumanth Aswin as the lead pair. Adivi Sai Kiran is directing this youthful film.
Kruthika made her debut with Drushyam in which she played Venky's elder daughter. She is now in demand and has already signed her second Telugu film as the lead actress.
