Hyderabad: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu said he was displeased with social welfare minister Ravela Kishore Babu for his controversial comments on relations between the Telugu Desam and BJP.
Mr Babu on Monday in Prattipadu of Guntur district said that the alliance with the BJP was only for the sake of state development and efforts would be made to limit the alliance. He also said that he is number two in the AP Cabinet.
Mr Naidu summoned Mr Babu and demanded an explanation for creating commotion in political circles. The minister said it was an outburst caused by the BJP’s induction of former Congress minister Kanna Lakshminarayana from Guntur district, who is a strong critic of the TD.
Mr Naidu warned the minister against making such comments in future that might strain relations between the BJP and TD.
