Shah Rukh Khan and Karan Johar patch up at the superstar's birthday bash

Mumbai: Bollywood has been abuzz with the revived warmth between Shah Rukh Khan and Karan Johar during the former’s 49th birthday party.

While the who’s who of the industry turned up at SRK’s bungalow, Mannat, for the party last Saturday, Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif were missing.

And of course Salman Khan and Aamir Khan weren’t there too for obvious reasons.

A prominent director who stayed from the beginning to the end, says, “It was a night to remember. Shah Rukh was in his element. Gauri and he greeted every guest personally. Karan Johar, who had had a fall-out with Shah Rukh, also mingled easily with the guests.”

The director adds, “Karan made an effort to reach out to Shah Rukh. The two were actually very friendly with each other after a long time. Shah Rukh is in a very happy state of mind, what with the birth of AbRam and the success of Happy New Year. He was very warm towards Karan after a very long time. Also almost every leading lady from Bollywood, barring Katrina, was there.”

Abhishek and Aishwarya too were at the party. In fact it was Aishwarya’s birthday on November 1 and everyone was seen wishing her at Shah Rukh’s party.

Katrina was his only prominent leading lady to be missing.
