Baichung Bhutia wants to be a part of Imran Zahid's ‘Majnu Ka Tilla’

The film is based on the Tibetan issue and has got the interest of many celebrities
Mumbai: Moral and monetary help is pouring in from all quarters for Imran Zahid’s proposed film ‘Majnu Ka Tilla’ on the Tibetan issue, and that includes celebrities like singer Zubeen Garg and footballer Baichung Bhutia.
Reveals Imran, “Former Indian football captain Baichung Bhutia who refused to run with the Olympic torch to support the Tibet cause has agreed to support our film. Support is pouring in from all quarters.”
Imran who is a protégé of Mahesh Bhatt says he has received thousands of tweets, emails and text messages from supporters of the Tibetan cause.
Says Imran, “We’ve received thousands of messages from Tibetens all over the globe. They all are very very happy and have promised their support for the project. Lots of them have offered financial support as well”
And now the film’s director Danish Iqbal and the project’s creative producer Mahesh Bhatt are all set to visit Tibet.
Says Imran, “We are really excited with this response and this project. Bhatt saab is also on board as creative producer and is planning to visit Tibet with me and director Danish.”
The story of the film revolves around a student of Delhi University falling in love with a Tibetan girl in ‘Majnu Ka Tilla’ and how he later on associates himself with a struggle movement and abandons everything else in the process.
The project has generated worldwide interest.
